What is the best Pixieset alternative for weddings?

For the couple's private gallery, Pic-Time or staying on Pixieset may still fit. For every guest to find their photos with a selfie and QR at the reception, Kamero is the common Pixieset alternative — it adds Kam-Sync, unlimited guests, and event privacy controls Pixieset is not designed around.

Can Kamero replace Pixieset entirely?

Kamero replaces Pixieset for event delivery, guest search, and digital sales. It does not replicate the full Pixieset Suite (contracts, invoicing, Studio Manager). Many photographers use Kamero for events and keep Pixieset or Pic-Time for studio client work.

How do I migrate from Pixieset?

Download originals from Pixieset, create a Kamero event, bulk upload or use Kam-Sync, enable face recognition, share a branded QR, and optionally enable Sell Photos. Step-by-step: migrate from Pixieset to Kamero guide on Kamero Resources.

Pixieset Alternative for Event Photographers (2026)

Searching Pixieset alternative usually means one of two things: you outgrew storage pricing, or you booked an event where guests — not just the client — need photos. Pixieset remains excellent for studio suites, Mobile Gallery App delivery, and print stores. Kamero is the alternative when delivery looks like a festival, wedding reception, or race — QR, selfie search, Kam-Sync, unlimited guests.

What to look for in a Pixieset replacement

Selfie search at scale (hundreds to thousands of faces)
Branded QR and web gallery without forced app install
Live camera-to-cloud during the event
Pay-per-event pricing when you shoot sporadic mega-events
Digital sales with buyers paying you directly
Export portability — never locked in

Why photographers add Kamero alongside Pixieset

Keep Pixieset for portrait sessions and couple galleries. Add Kamero for the reception QR, corporate summit, or school annual day. You are not abandoning Pixieset — you are splitting jobs correctly. See client gallery vs event sharing.
